Lego Builds Bonsai Trees and Flower Bouquets for Adults

Okay. Okay. We know this isn’t your normal tree news, but we thought this would be a fun little trip for you to take, a bit of a break from our usual information. Did you know that Lego Japan is about to launch their Botanical series which is geared specifically for an adult audience.

Yes, Lego is extending its reach to the adult market. According to the Lego group survey, “70% of adults are looking for new ways to relieve stress.” That’s even truer now since the COVID pandemic has hit. People want to find a way to relax and feel better about their day to day lives. Lego feels that they can help accomplish that with their Botanical collection which uses a number of plant-derived plastic elements derived from sugar cane. It’s environmentally friendly and fun.

Lego Group Design Leader Jamie Berard thinks that, “many people are looking for ways to change their mood and relax.” Lego is excited to help people seek comfort in their busy daily lives using this wonderful botanical collection. The collection has customizable elements and creates opportunities to practice mindfulness. As Berard says, “These experiences will help you to express your individuality while cultivating your creativity.”

The Bonsai Tree

Lego’s Bonsai tree model can make two types of trees, evergreen or sakura. This allows you to create a completely new look with the changing seasons. For an added bit of fun, frogs are hidden in the petals of the cherry blossoms. The piece comes in a rectangular flower pot and has a wooden pedestal that gives an elegant and sophisticated look to the item. It’s a perfect product for those familiar with the Lego products and people who are just looking to relax.

Flower Bouquet

The length of the flower’s stem is adjustable and can easily fit a variety of vases.  You can make a beautiful bouquet out of a variety of different flowers such as snapdragons, tulips, roses, poppies, asters, daisies and pampas grass. The only limit comes from your imagination.

You can find these items online at the Lego Store or Amazon Japan. We hope you enjoyed this article and encourage you to find ways to relax and unwind during this unprecedented time in human history. We look forward to bringing you more information and education in the weeks to come.
